Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of RMGShare, including rmgshare.com and the related RMGShare services, applications and subdomains that link to these Terms (collectively, the "Platform"). The Platform is operated under the name RMGShare ("RMGShare", "we", "us" or "our").

By creating an account, accessing a restricted feature, purchasing a subscription, joining as a vendor, posting content, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility and authority

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
If you use the Platform for a factory, company or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to act for that organisation and bind it to these Terms.
You must provide accurate, current and complete information and promptly update it when it changes.

2. Accounts and security

You are responsible for safeguarding your password, device and account access, and for activity performed through your account. Do not share login credentials or impersonate another person. Notify us promptly at contact@rmgshare.com if you suspect unauthorised access. We may require identity, organisation or vendor verification before enabling specific features.

3. Platform services

RMGShare may provide safety and compliance resources, AI-assisted information, HSE management tools, online training and certificates, community posts and messaging, job-related features, subscription services, and a multi-vendor fire and safety marketplace. Some services have additional rules, prices, eligibility requirements or technical limitations shown at the point of use.

Safety notice: RMGShare content, AI output, checklists, training materials and software are general support tools. They do not replace applicable law, an authority's direction, an audit requirement, manufacturer instructions, site-specific engineering, or advice from a competent fire-safety, HSE, legal or other professional. Always verify critical information before acting.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

break any law, regulation, safety requirement, intellectual-property right or third-party right;
upload malicious code, probe security, bypass access controls, scrape at unreasonable scale, or disrupt the Platform;
post false, deceptive, defamatory, discriminatory, threatening, obscene or unlawful material;
misrepresent qualifications, certificates, audit status, product approvals, vendor identity or product origin;
use another person's personal data without a lawful reason or send spam, harassment or unsolicited bulk messages;
copy, sell, reverse engineer or commercially exploit protected Platform content except where we expressly allow it.

5. User content and public features

You retain ownership of content you submit, such as posts, comments, profile information, product listings, photos and documents. You grant RMGShare a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format and display that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve and promote the relevant Platform feature. Public posts, profiles, vendor details and product listings may be visible to anyone.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed for submitted content. We may remove, restrict or preserve content where reasonably necessary for moderation, safety, legal compliance, dispute handling or protection of users.

6. Training, assessments and certificates

Training results and certificates are based on the information and assessment records available in the Platform. A certificate does not by itself prove legal competence, professional licensing, employment status or regulatory approval. We may correct or revoke a certificate affected by fraud, identity mismatch, technical error, content withdrawal or rule violation.

7. AI-assisted features

AI-generated responses may be incomplete, outdated or incorrect. Do not rely on AI output as the sole basis for emergency response, engineering design, legal compliance, medical decisions, worker discipline or any decision that could affect life, health, employment or property. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying outputs before use.

8. Subscriptions, fees and refunds

Prices, billing periods and included features are shown before purchase. Unless expressly stated, fees are quoted in Bangladeshi Taka and may exclude applicable taxes or third-party payment charges. A subscription renews only when the checkout or order confirmation clearly says it will renew. Cancellation, refund and trial conditions shown at purchase form part of these Terms. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

9. Marketplace use

Marketplace activity is also governed by our General Terms and Conditions. Unless a listing clearly identifies RMGShare as the seller, the relevant vendor is responsible for the product, quotation, invoice, warranty, delivery and after-sales service.

10. Third-party services

The Platform uses or links to third-party services, including Google sign-in, Firebase/Google Cloud, document viewers, payment or communication providers, and external websites. Their own terms and privacy practices apply. We are not responsible for an external service outside our reasonable control.

11. Intellectual property

The RMGShare name, interface, software, original graphics, compilation and other Platform materials are owned by or licensed to RMGShare and protected by applicable law. Public standards, third-party documents and user content remain the property of their respective owners. Availability on the Platform does not transfer ownership or grant rights beyond viewing or permitted use.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may suspend, restrict or terminate access where we reasonably believe there is fraud, abuse, security risk, non-payment, unlawful conduct, serious or repeated breach, or a need to protect users or comply with law. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to respond.

13. Service availability and disclaimers

The Platform is provided on an "as available" basis. We aim for reliable and accurate service but do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free content, a particular business result, regulatory acceptance, or that every vendor, product or user statement is accurate. Verification badges or moderation reduce risk but are not guarantees.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RMGShare will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, lost profit, lost data, business interruption, or loss caused by another user, vendor, external service or unverified reliance on informational or AI content. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or a consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect legal, security, operational or service changes. We will update the date above and provide additional notice where a material change requires it. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. The parties should first try in good faith to resolve a dispute by written notice. If unresolved, the competent courts of Bangladesh will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer forum or remedy available under applicable law.
